Dream On Curls Therapeutic Riding Center has provided our son with many opportunities and positive results for his health and disabilities. The horseback riding is strengthening his memory, body awareness, stability and balance, confidence, companionship, increase in socialization, and a positive outlook on life. He is visually impaired and has motor speech difficulties, but when I see him, looking and guiding the horse around and communicating with his trainer and the horse-- I am impressed with what therapeutic riding has and continues to provide for our son !

Our daughter who is 38 and mentally challenged has been taking therapeutic riding lessons at Dream On Curls Riding Center. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the service. The instructor is highly skilled in horse handling and able to relate to those with disabilities in a way that challenges them to exceed their own expectations as well as building their self esteem

We are shared living providers for a man who is 43 years old and mentally challenged. This riding center is helping fulfill one man's dream as well as building skill and confidence. His skills consistently improved from the beginning to the end of his session. He talks about the horses he rode as if it was his own.

This program has been a fun learning experience. I learned more than just how to ride and care for a horse. I learned a valuable lesson that I can use in everyday life. The valuable lessons is for me to be more assertive, keep trying and never give up and now I have more confidence in myself than I did at the beginning of the program. I also learned that working with animals is a lot like working with people - you need to stay calm. Too bad the program I was in is over - because I had a lot of fun.
